Woodland Creations is a specialist woodcraft company based in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. It is the passion and labour of Ryan Hor. Ryan has many years experience in woodcraft. With an early childhood fascination in his grandfather’s furniture, he went on to develop his skills professionally. Ryan’s natural talents and hard work saw him become fully qualified at a young age. He completed a FETAC Level 5 in Furniture Craft & Design in Galway, then obtained his HND in 3D Design shortly afterwards. Now he applies his skills to making beautiful, unique wood crafts.

Recently Ryan was commissioned to make a Quaich; a traditional scottish ceremonial drinking cup. He crafted it out of native ash, and finished it with a foodsafe oil. This enhances the grain and seals the timber so it is safe to drink from. His clients were delighted with the result, and it was a huge part of their special wedding day. They will keep their quaich forever, holding onto the memories.
